hiii, my name is em! i’m an upcycle artist building a community that embraces sustainability🌱
my main focus is clothing waste! pieces are discarded with so much life left in them, so that’s why i started upcycling! i take clothes that are heading to a landfill, modify each one making every piece unique, and i try to find them a new home instead of polluting the earth♻️
i also believe sustainable fashion should be accessible, so i prioritize affordability as well as a wide range of sizes & styles with my upcycle✨
my other goal of sharing my art is to educate about sustainability!! i want to show you that your habits don’t have to be perfect to make a difference. in the past i’ve felt like “there’s no point in me making this sustainable pivot, because i still do X, Y, and Z so it doesn’t matter”, but that idea of perfection pushes us away from progress, so i want to remind you as i remind myself of that fact😌
